Located on the outskirts of Kolkata, India, Chembiotek started its operations in 2001. Since then it has been offering services in medicinal chemistry, chemical process development, custom synthesis and analytical chemistry. The chemistry section is driven by a team of scientists, who have expertise in synthetic organic, medicinal, natural product, combinatorial, organometallic, process and analytical chemistry. Add to this, our core chemistry team’s experience, which is over 70 man-years of scientific experience gained from universities and industries in India and abroad.

The Biological Research Laboratory began its journey in 2004. Since its inception, the biology team grew in numbers and skills. Now, it offers modern services for assay development, biochemistry, molecular biology, In vivo pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics, ADMET and computational biology. Our team of experts constantly redesigns experimental protocols giving stress on customers’ goals. Members of the biology team honed their research skills in the US universities - Syracuse University, SUNY, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Harvard Medical School, and University of Rochester.

Pune

In response to the changing scenario of the pharmaceutical industries and an expanding client base, Chembiotek has set up an additional research centre in Pune. The research centre is located in the International Biotech Park at Hinjewadi in Pune. This would help Chembiotek to tap huge pool of scientific talents residing in different regions of India. With the scientific staff strength, Pune centre is growing steadily. The team at Hinjewadi with its sophisticated equipments is offering services in the combinatorial chemistry, medicinal chemistry, custom synthesis and process chemistry. The Biotech Park, a TCG Group Holding, aims to develop a niche of expertise in life sciences infrastructure development creating an environment that will foster research and development in the country.
