Profiles

Scientists:  PhDs with following expertise and 2-4 years of requisite post doctoral or industrial experience.
Senior Scientists:  PhDs with following expertise and 4-6 years of requisite post doctoral and industrial experience.
Group Leaders:   PhDs with following expertise and 7-10 years of requisite post doctoral and industrial experience.
Industry experience in US and Europe is an added advantage.

Requirement: Synthetic Organic Chemistry for Pune & Kolkata facilities
Qualifications: PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Combinatorial Chemistry with strong skills in instruments like NMR, HPLC, LCMS, FTIR, GCMS and UV should also apply. Knowledge in designing synthetic pathways for target structures and exploring the approaches in the laboratory and scaling up to private plant and the plant level. Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, will be an advantage.
Requirement: Biology for Kolkata facility
Qualifications: PhD in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Molecular biology and Drug Metabolism from reputed academic institute - preference to profiling, 		 
assay development, recombinant DNA technology, RNA and protein expression, protein production, HPLC, Mass based drug estimation. For some projects knowledge of novel tissue culture models for the identification and characterization of inhibitors against HIV and tuberculosis involving the hostmicrobial interaction and inhibition is essential.
Requirement: Carbohydrate, Nucleoside and Nucleotide Chemistry for Kolkata facility
Qualifications: PhD in the above fields from reputed academic institute. Knowledge on leading and accompanying projects in synthetic RNA inhibitors, small molecule inhibitors to develop diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
   Requirement: Medicinal Chemistry for Pune & Kolkata facilities
Qualifications: PhD in medicinal/synthetic organic chemistry reputed academic institute and has experience in the capacity of a medicinal chemist with a sound knowledge of multi disciplinary team co-ordination. For some projects domain knowledge on HIV and Tuberculosis is essential. Strong publication record in the above domains is an added advantage. Along with the above requirements it is essential to have knowledge of analytical techniques and instruments. Scientists with postgraduate degree and with requisite industrial experience abroad may also apply.
